Basic CPAP / BiPAP
and Supply Maintenance
-
Wash the humidifier tub in warm water using mild detergent (like dish soap) and allow to air dry. Inspect the water tub once a month for wear and deterioration as a worn out tub can cause leaking. Always replace the tub if it is leaking, cracked or has become cloudy.
** Please refer to the relevant product user guide provided with your device and supplies for more information.
Important
Only ever wash supplies by hand with a mild detergent to avoid damage and harmful residues.
Here is a list of common cleaning solutions to avoid:

Caring for Your PAP Supplies
To ensure proper use of your PAP Therapy, it's important to regularly inspect, clean and care for your equipment.
Mask Care
-
Facial oils can accumulate on your mask and reduce the performance of the seal. It is recommended to wash your face with water to remove any facial oils before wearing your mask each night.
Device Care
-
Wipe the device down and clean its air tubing weekly. It is recommended to check the air filter at least every few weeks for dust build-up. If the air filter is blocked by dust, it can reduce the air flow and diminish air pressure being delivered to you.
